I went in this store on the way back to my hotel the other day. It's
mostly full of silly garbage (8 track players, rat pack ephemera,
etc). But I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a pretty
robust collection of cg music. The best stores in Chicago are
Performers Music and Coulson's, and the Colony had way more stuff than
either of them. It was neat to see Stanley's repertoire book (with a
piece by Doug Seth!), which I have not seen in my city.
New Yorkers: tell me how the Colony selection compares to Luthier
Music. I have not been to LM because it opens late and closes early.

I don't go to Colony very often since, as you say, it's mostly silly
garbage, but I'd be surprised if they have anything close to Luthier's
selection. It would be well worth making the time to stop in on them
if at all possible.

Ok, I'll give it a shot.
