What I already know - I've read all of the past comments in the archives,
and as far as I know MO's is the only one in private hands in the US (where
I am from). He made a comment in one post that there is a Scherzer in the
MOMA, which is somewhat near me. I'm aware that he has had repairs done to
his guitar, I believe by Brune, and I am aware of the 10 string repros that
have been done by Southwell.
I've contacted David Schramm, who exchanged some messages with MO about
these guitars, but he has not been able to track anything down due to time
constraints.
Soo.. if anyone has any concrete knowledge or pointers on any extant
drawings, sketches, or plans, I'd love to hear about it. Also, if anyone has
the name of a luthier who has done a repro of the 6 string version, I'd like
to hear about that as well.

I believe Richard Brune published an article someplace with some
drawings of my 10-string Scherzer. How elaborate they were I cannot
tell.
Both Richard and Garry had taken precise measurements of both my
Scherzers. I cannot tell if they would be willing to share. But as I
said to David, anyone is welcome to come to my house and take
measurements. I am not a luthier myself and I am convinced this design
is far superior to all the Torres/Spanish hoopla of the last 150
years. If you can make a good replica of this one, by all means, come
and get it.
