Dear users,

I have recently acquired Celedonio´s Romero "Suite Andaluza" for
guitar solo dedicated to his son Pepe. The score is great and the
music is really very nice ... However I have been surprised by the
fact that its last movement ( the Fantasía ... along with the
Zapateado is the movement in which I am most interested) differs quite
a lot from the version played by Angel and Pepe in their concerts and
included in several of their CDs. Eventually, also ¡ Celedonio´s ! own
version as shown in the film "Los Romeros, the Royal Family of the
Guitar" ...

I would really be very grateful if anyone could please provide me
information on where can I find the sheet music of this last movement
( Fantasía ) in its performed and recorded version.

Thanks in advance for all your help,

Best regards,

Recibid un cordial saludo desde Madrid, Spain.

I've been playing those for 10 + years. Best thing to do is to listen to the
recording and figure it out. That's how I learned it. Just like how
electric guitar players learn riffs off of recordings. Angel's recording of
it is better then Pepe's. Angel recorded the whole suite. Since the Fantasia
is a easy piece to play you should be able to figure it out without any
problem. The only thing that might throw you off is the right hand
fingerboard tapping part at the end. I usually play the fantasia as an
encore or final piece in my set. A nice short show piece.

Regards,

Juan,

This is an old post but I wonder if you were able to find sheet music for Romero's Fantasia. I, too, have been looking. Thank you.
