I think he's still in the band. Remember that he not only plays for
Peacock and the 77's, but for Vector as well. I'm sure that's a big
schedule to keep... =}

according to sources close to the band (always wanted to say that) Aaron is
still with the 77's. the reason behind his abscence is financial. the a-train
recently moved to nashville to have more opportunities at being a studio
musician and apparently the move has paid off. it was financially unreasonable
for aaron to give up some studio work to go tour.
hopefully, that is all there is to the story. the sevens just wouldn't be the
same without his pounding and thrashing.

in mike roe's interview with VoG last month, he said that the band he
had to tour (himself on guitars, mark harmon on bass, bruce spencer
on drums) was put together for convenience's sake, and the reason that
it was bruce on drums and not aaron was that bruce was living in
california and aaron was living in nashville, and geographically that
was the way that things worked out best.
he also said that no one ever quits the 77s, they just become alumni
members. 8-)
chuck, still .sigless, no time to make one.
You bet...When I saw Rich and the Ragamuffins here in Dallas, Aaron Smith
was doing some pounding and thrashing on them drums for the Richster...

And Michael Card. I think he might have been a fill in there...seems
a waste. That was a couple years ago. -Bob
