Who listens to what. (was: Guardian Concert - Dayton)

I have thought about this before, but it all boils down to this. Who is
the audience that Point of Grace and groups like that 'mainly'
attracted? It is a older crowd and who can actually afford to attend concert.
For example, in April PFR and Jars of Clay were here at my school, and
there were alot of people who wanted to go, but truely could not afford it.

I am not saying anything against the people or the artist, like Point of Grace.
( I happen to like Point of Grace and 4HIM alot.)
But, it something to think about...it is like the same situation with
some listener supported radio stations. The people who can afford to
help support it, are older and that is why they play mellower music.
There was a show on Friday nights that played comtempary music for about
2 hours. Well, putting it nicely the show was taken off the air due to
unfavorable reviews from patrons.

My mother is bad at this..she is becoming a little better, but she tells
me to 'Turn that crap off.' Mind you this is Christian Music, Would she
rather I listen to something without a positive message? Sorry, I didn't
mean for this to become a gripe session, but I have thought about this
subject long and hard.
