during the chorus of the song, i remember singing something like:
"hear Your people praying for salvation let it rain./ Lord, let it rain"
i have talked with others about the song and no one in know in my
fellowship has heard it before.
it sounds vinyard-ish but that's all i really have to go on.
any suggestions can be sither posted or mailed to me.

I think your talking about the Bob Fitts song "Let It Rain". If my
info is right, all of Bob Fitts' material is copyrighted by Maranatha! Music.
I have heard this song you are talking about on a Vineyard CD called
"Worship Festival - Live!". This is a project they did on location
during a huge worship festival in Vancouver/Langley, BC, Canada.
The CD has songs written and/or sung by Graham Kendrik, Bob Fitts,
Brian Doerksen, Violet Burning, Kevin Prosch, Andy Park and others.
It is the best truly "LIVE" worship album I have EVER heard.
I liked this so much, I have the CD for my home stereo and bought the
(double) cassette version for my car stereo (NOTE:the CD is so long,
that it can only be bought in a double cassette format, otherwise).
As far as I know, Vineyard is the only ones carrying this album
(at least, I haven't seen it in bookstores).
Anyways, enough already......

That doesn't make sence. The Vineyard casset "Changed by Your Glory" is
so long that they had to take two tracks off the CD. Since this is the
case, why would they have to put "Worship Festival - Live!" CD on two
cassets?

Salem here in Ottawa has a whole shelf full of Vineyard albums, and I
seem to remember seeing it there.

Actually, Roger (a guy whom I know well, eh), Kim Gentes is right. Vineyard's
"Worship Festival Live" _does_ come in one CD or two cassettes. I have no
idea why, though. Each of the cassettes only carries about 6-8 songs, and
there are no extras than in the CD (as compared to "Changed By Your Glory",
which you successfully pointed out to me as having 2 extra songs missing on
the CD).
Life is weird.
