Ouch. It'd be a bit cold to tour Europe at the moment.

It is compared to Oz :-) When I was in Europe last year they
were calling 29 Celsius a heatwave. My sister currently lives
in London and is feeling the cold just a little :)

Hy,

im new to this group, my name is Gunter i Live in Germany, Kassel,
loving together in a socalled community with severela christians.

Together with my friend from www.roughtruth.de we will have the next two
weeks in Germany with Silver, the blamed, sometimes Snubnose, noisetoys
and forgiven.

The concert yesterday eveningwas quite good, but we have been in some
trouble, because the flight of blamed had a delay, because of stormy
weather in chicago , they arrived safely in Frankfurt about 8 hours
later and had their concert straight after. I think they have been
veeery tired after all.
Today we will leave for freiburg, its a long ride witzh our 3 busses.

The weather is NOT COLD(-5 Celsius), i hope there is no snow in the
southern part of germany.

Please pray for the tour-i will inform you in soem days for the latest
informations,
blessings,
Gunter

She does. Hopefully though she won't have quite the same effects
others seem to be having. That's a really nasty strain :(

Darn I hoped they'd be playing the Brainwave festival in Holland. Then
we'd finally have a GOOD band there....

Depends on which bands you consider decent. I'm expecting to see at least
three or four decent acts over the next couple of months.

On the contrary there are good bands about in the UK, I suppose it
depends a bit on your tastes. Last year I saw VoL, All Star United,
Delirious, Dust, ...all quality stuff. The UK is not quite a
backwater...not yet.
Greenbelt is again happening!

Dat's right. Other good UK bands include _Tribe of Dan_ (or anything
Dan Donovan does for that matter), a certain welsh singer whose name
currently escapes me (one of my current favourites of his is 'Liberal
Backslider'), Flow, Amnesia, and several others. For info on the
various UK bands have a look at:

<http://www.britlinks.co.uk/>

which also includes touring information.

I'm hangin' for it. Especially as Blackstump won't be on this year.

That would be Martyn Joseph

Look out for an announcement about some developments with this one very
soon (Tuesday)

>which also includes touring information.

For those bands who have submitted it, there is no proper gig guide, but
there is a board for folks to post details of events on.

It's sounding very promising (possibly twice last year's attendance?)

That would be him. I remembered the next day.

It's Tuesday...oh, you mean UK time :-)

Site changes went up just before midnight GMT and announcements went out
just after. Now to see how long they take to propagate (my newsfeed's been
dreadful over the weekend).

Indeed. And hope that Junction 1 doesn't get in the way. It's a new
festival set up by Word and Alliance on the same weekend as Greenbelt so
that they can bring over their big acts and sell a few records, while
pushing US-style CCM culture in a place where its not appropriate. Last
time Word tried something like this it failed, hopefully it'll fail again.
