Disappointments included
The Choir (really only Steve, Derri and some session musicians). They didn't
play much new material and despite it being a good show, it was not the
amazing one I'd hoped for.
Delirious? Far too much of a show for me, not like the spontaneous nature of
other d: live experiences.
Anybody else?
James.

I made it to green belt, but then I quit karate.
What a sense of humour :-)
I was at Greenbelt. My highlight was seening All Star United again. They
were excellent. Can't wait to see them again in the spring.

Hi James,
I made it to Greenbelt, I saw you there!!!
I agree that Delirious was more show-like than before. Perhaps this
was because of the time constraints imposed on them. I still enjoyed
them though. Vigilantes were great especially when they played in the
big top.

Only Steve & Derri? What about Dan?
Anyway, most of the Choir shows I've been to have been good-but-not-amazing.
That seems to be pretty much the standard.

Yeah, so I hear, but they clashed with some bandstand stuff I wanted to see
so I missed their show. Maybe next year.

Well Stu G isn't bad on the old guitar but...Are you getting at Why?
Maybe there was once an overload of folk-rock a la Why? but they are the
only band really doing that thing right now and I like 'em. What other
band would have their friends running round mainstage pretending to be
a zebra and a lion?
Well...sometimes...perhaps I just needed some craziness by that point
in the weekend. Personally I like Why? and am glad that they are there
doing the folkie thing rather than a whole swarm of less professional
groups all sounding the same.
