List of CCM groups with style of music

I've been reading/enjoying this group off and on, and have decided to expand my
small collection of Christian music. At present, I listen to mostly secular
bands, but I have 3 Amy Grant tapes which I listen to a great deal. This
newsgroup contains a lot of postings about various CCM artists, but there
doesn't appear to be a list of artists and what style of music they perform.
Therefore, when I read about a certain group that somebody likes (eg. 4 Him,
Petra, etc), I can't always tell what style of music is being discussed, so I
don't know whether to run out and buy the album or not. Keep in mind I'm very
unfamiliar with most Christian bands (other than Amy, of course), but I'm really
interested in listening to more Christian music and would love to hear people's
recommendations for Christian artists with a similar style to Amy's.
Can anyone compile a list of popular CCM artists and list their style of music
(eg. easy listening, rock, metal, etc). I would be interested in this for a
couple of reasons: so I can buy some more CCM stuff for myself, but also so
that I can better appreciate the discussions people have about various bands.
