I bought this CD about a week ago and I think it's one of the best
Christian CD's I've heard in a while. Scott Blackwell (and the other
producers) did an excellent job of updating Norman's music. I wasn't
very optimistic when I bought it, considering how embarassing most
Contemporary Christian is. I was very surprised! My favorite songs on this
disc are "If the bombs fall", "I wish we'd all been ready" and "UFO". This
disc could easily be a secular cross-over if they ever decided to take
that route. A note of warning though! This is not a rock or alternative
disk. I'm not exactly sure what to call it, but the songs are more
uptempo, and rhythmic. I don't think I'd call it "House" music, because
most of those types of songs are faster. The producers really didn't
change the actual tempo of the songs, they just put more of a beat behind
it. The other drawback is that the disk is only ~35 minutes long. They
should have either extended the mixes, or added another 10 songs.

UFO sort of loses the original IMO (is the original from _Stranger in a
Strange Land?), but I have to say that it is the first take on a Larry
Norman tune that I have liked better than any earlier version I've heard.

I was also very excited about this remix ablum.

Scott Blackwell did a great job with this album. Maybe he will get to
work on Raving Lunatics Vol 2 now.

It's a great remix.....too bad it has to lose the message!!!
The original UFO song had such a great message which this version only
uses three lines of.....the remix isn't an improvement musicly but it is
a very good remix of a classic..........but again it is too bad that the
message (the most important part of a song) has to be lost.

The other songs on the CD are great remixes all around 'cause they keep
most if not all the original lyrics and message.

My two cents worth.....

Frank
