Does anyone know of a resource that would list all previous Dove Awards
nominations and winners?
Thanks! Doug

For a comprehensive list of all Dove Award winners...call the GMA (Gospel
Music Association) in Nashville: 615-242-0303.

Someone actually cares about the Dove Awards? Very scary.

Hey Ed,

You MAY be hindering the open forum of r.m.c here.
Kinda harsh, HUH?

Nope. You have an opinion. I have an opinion. I state my opinion. You
tell me *I'm* hindering the open forum of r.m.c.? Now who is hindering
what? No, it wasn't harsh. The Doves suck. That's my opinion. Refer to
signature. Maybe this was harsh, but hey...

Hey Dave,

You MAY be wasting band width by posting twice.

You forgot that Randy Stonehill won a broken arm. He should have won best
album IMHO.

Hey Doug,
You can probably get a list from the GMA in Nashville. I know they have
a list of all Dove Award winners dating back to the first award
ceremony in their Networking Guide. The GMA office number is (615)
242-0303. The GMA also plans to have a web site on netcentral before too
long, if it's not already there.

Thanks for the advice, Carl. Actually, I just received a collection of
lists from GMA yesterday detailing all the nominees & winners since 1969.
Unfortunately, GMA says they have none of this available in text form (as
in a file), so someone will have to do an awful lot of typing to get this
thing online. I think it would be a great online resource to have, so I
hope GMA can get it on their web page sometime in the future.

You can find a list of Dove award winners in the Chase Annual
events book. Look for it at your local library. It will be in
the back of the book. From the title, you can see that it is
obviously an annual book...you will have to go really really
far back to get them all. To be honest, I'm not sure you can
really go all the way back to the beginning without contacting
the Gospel Music Association in Nashville. They are the sponsors
of the Doves after all. Hope this helps.
Ria.
