Supposedly Imagine This has changed their name (rumour). Anybody know
if this is true, and what their supposed new name is?

Angela...

 You are partially correct.

Imagine This is no longer. The band broke up last year. Former members Daryl Youngblood; Rick Weinland and Eric Miller struck out on their own and created a new group called LLOYD.

The new album will be available March 24 on the ORGANIC label of Pamplin Music. If you liked I.T. you will LOVE Lloyd. (and yes there is a story behind the name)

I am part of their management team and I can tell you that if you are on the I.T. mailing list you will receive (within the next three weeks) a postcard announcing the new album along with a discount coupon for $5.00 off valid for the first two weeks of the albums release.

Look for the band opening for Reality Check  this spring along with the Channel Surfers a detailed tour itin and band info can be obtained at the bands web-site: http://www.lloydsplace.com

Hope that helped.

According to lead singer Daryl Youngblood, the new name is "Lloyd."

I don't think this is correct. I was told that Imagine This has
completely disolved. There are only 1 or 2 members from Imagine This in
Lloyd. I don't think it is the same band.

Since for all intents and purposes Darryl Youngblood WAS Imagine This (kind of
like Trent Reznor IS Nine Inch Nails), then saying "IT" is now "Lloyd" is more
correct than not...

I didn't say it was the same band, just that the new name is "Lloyd."
