If you want something that sound alternative, DCTalk is the way to go!!
The single "Jesus Freak" is very metalish with the guitars and all. The
rest of the album has hints of Seal and other artists but my friend who
likes Guardian wanted to buy it so who knows!?

Errr...
DCTalk is many things, but it really isn't much like Green Day or
Pearl Jam. They have more in common with New Kids on the Block
than they do with either of these bands...
Not to put DCT down, but really...

if you want a band that sounds like the punk rock antics of green day you
might want to check out (this will sound very cliche) MXPX, magnified
plaid. they are an awesome punk rawk band from nowhere else but the
seattle/portland area. They are one of the most legit punk rawk bands in
the seen. very reminicient of old "bad religion".
