Dash-
Jon Anderson has always had Christian leanings; his Yes-mate Rick Wakeman
is a believer, and has been a strong influence. but Anderson always goes
new-agey-flakey in the end.
singing with 4Him is a really interesting twist, though...where'd you hear
about this?

A piece of canvas is only the beginning
It takes on character with every loving stroke
This thing of beauty is the passion of an artist's heart
By God's design, we are a skin kaleidoscope "Colored people", dc Talk
I'm a big Yes fan, and from what I have been able to glean of Jon's
beliefs, he is into everything -- transcendentalism, new age, pantheism,
UFOs, he's kind of "addicted" to spirituality and tries a little bit of
everything. He's super-spiritual, but in a way that embraces everything,
especially mysticism. I'm not sure if at the core of all this there's
a Christian element or not. If so, he's not a traditional Christian.
He seems to be interested in things that transcend this existence, and
seems to be prone to mystical, transcendental stuff where the spirit
goes beyond this universe to something higher.
I could be totally wrong; my picture of him is through his lyrics
and what I have read about his life and beliefs. He does have some
Christian-inspired lyrics, but they are melded in with very non-Christian
themes; almost simultaneously in some cases.

It's true, they have a song on the _Streams_ project.
Jon Anderson, as far as I know, still believes in the "Devine Mother", the
"Spirtual Family", and other such new-age things, but he was recording
in the same studio as 4Him and is friends with producer Brent Bourgeois.
By the way, the new Yes album, _The Ladder_ releases on
Sept. 28. :-) :-) :-)
