I need some suggestions on a christian rap cd that sounds like bone thugs
and harmony. Thanks.

i haven't heard bone thugs in a while, but you *may* want to check out
GRITS "Factors of the Seven." it's the best xian rap out there, IMO.

Grits are ok, they are better than the gotee brothers that's for sure. I
have both grits and gb cd's, haven't listened to either one much, but
Grits is way better. I don't think there is a lot of good christian rap
out there so I guess Grits would be the best, if you don't count the
rapcore bands of course!!!

Hmmmm.. lemme see. First of all... Grits doesn't sound like Bone.
Grits are incredible and probably some of the best hip hop around right
now... Christian or secular. However, Grits' style is kinda like De La
Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, and Arrested Development.
These guys definatly can rhyme and they play with words. I recommend
both their albums, but their newest, Factors Of Seven, is probably the
better of the two.

As for bands that sound like Bone, that's hard cause Bone is so unique.
You may want to check out http://www.Hip-HopZone.com/ for info on all
kinds Christian hip hop. Some of my favorite Christian hip hop/rap
artists are Grits, Flynn Adam Atkins, and the Brainwash Projects
(http://www.eartube.com).

MeRrY ChRiStMaS!!!

"A silent night...
pierced by the simple rhythm of a drum.
No one could possibly understand how
a drum could sound like a symphony.
No one except this young boy and God,
who may have closed his eyes and listened.
The world would be forever shaken by the
intrusion of Grace.

No one could possibly understand how the
cry of a baby could sound like a symphony.
No one except God and the world who
so desperately needed a Savior.

This boy knew.

For the giving of himself so fully could
only be shadowed by the one for
whom he played... "
