You are very fortunate to have a Christian music video station. Here in
Toronto we do not have that resource to support our Christian lifestyle.
Cheers,

I heard about this machine awhile back. You could hook it up to a TV and
program it to record things while you were not there!!!! Wouldn't that be
perfect!

An honest answer for what I interpret as an honest question:
Z Music TV is a 24-hr a day Christian Music video station along the lines of
VH-1 and MTV, except the programming is Christian instead of the trash that
is on the other stations. In fact, I don't know if it has any "shows" at
all, just music videos. Anyway, it is the Church's answer to the crap put
out by non-Christian video channels. Personally, I think it's a great
concept, but their distribution sucks. I mean, I can't find ANYONE (cable
companies, that is) that carries it. The only way I know of is to get a
satellite dish. Not your $250 digital system, I'm talking the $1000 6-foot
dish that goes in your backyard system. I just don't have the room or money
for that (besides, I don't think the military will allow me to trash their
property by installing one). I hope this helps you out.
Personally I feel lucky not having ZTV and not having christian videos :)

Back home in Connecticut, where the shoots of Christian culture have
begun to
break through the cold and rocky soil, we have Praise TV late night
weekends
on regular broadcasting TV (UHF, not very VCR friendly). No complaints,
they
seem to do a pretty good mix of stuff. It seems the channel's part of
something
called PAXnet that's going to launch full-time programming this summer.
I'm aiming to go into music video when I leave school, so I try to keep
up
on what's happening. I think Audio A and DC Talk have put together some
pretty
good ones (Colored People, Some Kind of Zombie). The Tooth and Nail
video comps. have some cool stuff: Stavesavcre "Threshold" and Havalina
Rail Co. "Diamond in the Fish" (on vol 2), Driver Eight "Watermelon"
and
Velour100 "Flourish" (on vol 3). Those last two are a couple of my
favorite
videos. I just wish more labels would take the cue from T&N and release
videos
on tape. Not too many stations play Christian videos in the New
Hampshire
backwoods.
