Dear brothers,
Dear sisters,

Recently I listened to the Horde-album.
The style is called 'Holy Unblack Metal'.
You can compare the sound with secular (!) black metal bands...
I think The Horde did NOT cross the border, but it is very close...
Please give me your opinion, how far can we go, with music, names and
lyrics?
This is a serious question. I am not about to argue what we can do and
what we can't do!
Please place an article...

I suppose that's humor?

I wasn't aware of any 'nonsecular' black metal bands...

You want to know how far we can go, but not what we can and cannot do? Is
it me, or doesn't that make much sense?

As for the name: what's the problem, I don't see one.
As for the music: depends whether you think some 'music genres' are inherently
evil (a la "rock beat is satanic").
As for lyrics: they aren't exactly standard 'black metal' lyrics, are they?
At least some people on *.death were pretty annoyed even beforehand, like:

Subject: Damn it, is nothing safe from the sheep?

Got a Relapse mail-order update in the mail today with some cool new additions:
[...]
It also listed the following:
Horde - Hellig Usvart
Side project of Mortification. Amazing black metal from this
Christian band...

No matter where you go, the Christians/sheep are soon to follow with their
bastardized, Christ-loving garbage that they so love to spew.
Black metal has been one few genres to remain free from the Xian taint, mainly
because one of its driving ideologies is a hate for the religion and its
followers.
Will someone please kill these fools?

argh,
bret
