Every time I hear this song on the radio, I sing along, but the
station never says the name of the artist. Part of the song lyrics are
(*) means I don't remember -- these are only approximates. I'm tired!:

=====
I will trust in You
I will look to what is true
That You see the weakest through every trial
I will cling to You
Each day I pledge anew
My imperfect gratitude
From now on

(Verse)
I'm a rag doll
Made of strings and yarn
Each day (*)
And as I come apart at the seams
I raise my hands and fall to my knees
Please hold me and sew me back together again

=====

Thanks

Erin O'Donnell...she was touring with Susan Ashton last fall,
it was a really nice concert. They complimented each other well.
Although they really tried to push the sound when they are both more
vocally oriented and I would have rather heard them than their bands.

I believe she out touring again, but not with Susan....I don't know.

Tony:

I think it is Carolyn Errands although I'm not sure of the last name
spelling

I heard her do a concert last fall as the leadin to Kathy Troccoli in
Cincinnati

She mentioned in her intro of the song a young girl that had just
e-mailed her saying that the song spoke to her. The girl had a rare skin
disorder that was causing her skin to come off in big hunks. The phrases
below were being refered to:

"And as I come apart at the seams
I raise my hands and fall to my knees
Please hold me and sew me back together again"

It was a touching moment.

Yeah... I saw Erin O'Donnell last night at a local cafe thing... and she
was excellent! The new album sounds really good. And she told a great
story about "I Will Trust In You."

That's by Erin O'Donnell off her album "A Scrapbook of Sorts." You should
run out and buy this album immediately. Erin has a very sweet voice and
the music, written by her husband, is great. I too find myself singing
along with this song...very catchy.

Hm... we don't seem to get as many of the younger Christian artists in
Vancouver. They come as far as the Washington border, sometimes make
it past into the Bible belt of eastern Abbotsford and Chilliwack, but
rarely do they get any further.

I could be wrong, but aside from the names that sell over a million
copies (MWS, DC Talk, etc.) we seem to be sadly lacking in a variety
of Christian groups.

It would be great if more artists would do the coffee house style
thing.

PS Thanks to those for telling me who did the song. It was bugging me
that I didn't know it.
