Dream Theater's Kevin Moore...

I joined the Dream Theater email fan club "ystejam" about a month ago.
Since then I've gotten a lot of interesting info on Dream Theater.
Apparently the new keyboardist is Derek Sheridan (featured with Alice Cooper'
s band in Wayne's World). From what I hear, he's really good- but no Kevin
Moore.
The reason that I posted this is concerning Kevin Moore's demo. Due to a
little mistake (by me) I didn't get one a while back. Since I joined "
ytsejam" I got in touch with someone and now hold a copy of Kev's demo.
Interesting, I must say. It is very industrial and many times distorted.
The lyrics are many times dark and...interesting. I just got it yesterday,
so I'm not trying to figure out everything yet. BTW, there is a demo song
of "Space Dye Vest" on it with Kevin singing. He's got a much deeper voice
than James LaBrie. It's good though, and you can hear the movie samples
clearer. It seems to be talking about how age doesn't have to do with it.
It seems so much more emotional with Kevin singing it though.
There are some lyrics with hope, but so far I've heard a lot of darkness.

He was the most spiritual member of Dream Theater, if not Christian. I
have read articles about him and his beliefs, but I think now he's really
turned on what he thought was right. I do not mean to pass judgement, I
mean to invoke prayer.
He was really hurt by a girl, and maybe he feels hurt by God too. His
lyrics have changed since "Pull Me Under," "Surrounded," and "Wait For
Sleep." He experienced God, but was turned off by *maybe* the whole
organized religion thing. I don't know, but I'm going to try to pray for
him whenever I remember. I encourage any other Christian fans of Dream
Theater to do so as well.
As far as his music goes, I encourage any Dream Theater fans to obtain a
copy of Kevin Moore's demo. It does shed some hope, just the dark side
seems to smother it. If would like to obtain an "almost professional" copy
of the demo, join the ytsejam list and ask about it.
