Some people say we're crazy, but
We're all spinnin' round, we're all spinnin' round
You and me, we got something to say
We're all spinnin' round, we're all spinnin' round

Dead or alive. Just come to me. Had a very weird lead singer that looked
like a cross between Boy george and Alice Cooper.

Yep, I can even picture the video clip. My sort of song.

More like "Male or Female" now, based on what I saw of the lead singer on
VH1 recently... Guh!

Dead or Alive did their own set of remixes in '96.

Yep - but I thought that was actually the real singer who was playing the
part in the movie - anyone know for sure?

No, it was the keyboard player from Sandler's wedding band, who was
apparently conflicted about his/her sexuality, since he/she also did a
wicked Boy George. (Adam actually sang "You Spin Me.")

Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't very clear. What I meant is that I heard the 'actor'
who played the role of Sandler's keyboard player WAS the guy from Dead or
Alive (in other words, that the singer from Dead or Alive was the actor, and
was thus actually parodying himself).

Most likely that was just a rumor or an overactive imagination from someone
;)

No, it's not the same guy. Doesn't even look like him, other than the
dress. Besides the DorA guy is British and nowadays looks like Cher.
I'm serious! Major transvestite action happening there.

Billy Idol, however, was played by Billy Idol.

You know, the guy who sang that song sounded really homo....... but I
still liked the song.
That don't make me gay does it?

Have a nice day, Danny

Very deftly parodied in "The Wedding Singer"

Nah, that was Alexis Arquette, sibling of David, Patricia, and
Rosanna, and bit player in many a bad horror flick. Some might argue
_Wedding Singer_ doesn't represent much of a departure in that
regard...

Not that I care. It's got Drew Barrymore.

Yes. You're gay now. You can pick up your Judy Garland record at the door.
