Anybody know the actor who plays in a celtic band?

Does anybody know who I'm talking about. I saw one afternoon on American
Journal or Inside Current Copy or some such this actor or actress who
plays in a celtic band. They're just sort of a plaything for him, but
they were not awful. They weren't fantastic, but they were not all that
bad.

The only one I know of is Tate Donovan from the TV show "Partners" who
plays in an LA-based music quartet called the Descendants. When I am in
the LA area, I try to catch them on Thursdays at Molly Malone's on
Fairfax. Since he's been going out with Jennifer Aniston (Friends),
apparently the cast of young Hollywood stars has been attending their
weekly gigs there. Check them out (they're actually quite accomplished
musicians). -dg

madeline stoe "played" fiddle in a recent film. She was sipposed to be
playing with an Irish band. In the film I think it was the Drovers who
backed her up. Can't recall the name of film...sorry.

The namer of the film was "blink". It's a thriller starring Stowe and
Aidan Quinn.

Madeline Stowe played a temporarily blinded fiddler being
stalked by a crazed killer. The band she fronted was the
Drovers from Chicago.
