37th Annual NL Folk Festival  (2013)

Applications are now being accepted for the next Newfoundland
and Labrador Folk Festival to be held August 9, 10, and 11,
2013!  If you are interested in performing, please send an
electronic press kit, web material or further inquiries to
eve...@nlfolk.com or feel free to phone the office at
(709)-576-8508. 

Deadline for applications for the 2013 Festival
is January 30th, 2013.

The focus of the festival is on local performers but
there are usually a few acts from away each year.

Irish acts might be able to also play the
Feile Seamus Creagh, which is held the weekend
before the NL Folk Festival. The website for
that is http://www.feileseamuscreagh.com/ and
the artistic director is Graham Wells, who is
currently doing a Master's in musical performance
at the University of Limerick.

Last year the Raw Bar Collective played both
festivals.
