I finally got a copy of the song and I really, really like it.
Can anyone recommend other specific songs (by any artist) that have the same
slow, haunting mood and sound?
I love the sound of pipes, but not the fast "jig" type of music (you know
what I mean?). I really like the slower stuff like the song above or the
Braveheart soundtrack.
Any recommendations? Thanks!!

"The Song of Culainn's Dog", probably by Bark.
saw your post & thought I'd reccomend IONA.
They are about the coolest "Celtic" band I've heard, though I havn't
actually heard many..
I also tend to really enjoy the "slow airs" I think they're called...
Actually, I have a set of Uilleann pipes coming in April:-)
I'm psyched to play em', got an instructor lined up & everything...
well,
if you can get a hold of "Heaven's Bright Sun" by IONA, it's an awesome
CD.
Merry Christmas to you & yours from Maine!
