Douglas,

The Big Dish recorded 3 albums:

The Swimmer(Virgin, 1986)
Creeping Up On Jesus(Virgin, 1988)
Satelites(East/West, 1991)

I don't know if any of these albums were released here in the USA or if
they came out on the same labels. You can still buy these in record
stores in the UK. I actually spotted them when I was back home in
Edinburgh over Christmas.

The name was really a front for Stephen Lindsay - who hailed from
Airdrie - and the band went through a number of line-up changes and
included members from another(not so good, but more commercially
successful) Scottish band, Deacon Blue.

Lindsay stopped using the name The Big Dish after Satelites was
released, due to lack of interest from record companies and liitle
commercial success.

I had the good fortune to see them live in Edinburgh many years ago at
the Playhouse. Lindsay is an excellent singer/song writer. I don't
know what he's doing now.
