"Rise again, rise again, that her name not be lost
To the knowledge of men.
Those who loved her best and were with her till the end
Will make the Mary Ellen Carter rise again."

Happy Easter!

It is Gone, Gonna Rise Again, written by Si Kahn
and performed by my friend Michael James Hanrahan
on his first CD, Tie Me Down. http://michaelhanrahan.ca/

"I remember the year that my granddad died,
Gone, gonna rise again.
They dug his grave on a mountain side,
Gone, gonna rise again."
