See if you can find a listing in the greater Chicago area for a Shannon
Murphy-Heaton. She is a wonderful whistle/flute player. Tell her I sent you.
It may also be under "Matthew Heaton". Good luck.

I believe Larry Nugent is still teaching whistle and flute at the Old Town
School of Folk Music.

Noel is the best teacher I've had among several including some big names.
You can't go wrong. He'll teach both the mechanics and the _music_ (not
just the notes).
