According to a tweet from Chris Andrews, a band called
The Boys of Blue Hill are playing local pub Erin's Pub
this Friday.

I guess the band is named after the hornpipe.

A google search for their name just turns up stuff
on the hornpipe.

So does anyone out there have any more information
on the band, perhaps a short review?

I think from a recent Facebook post on

https://www.facebook.com/ErinsPubNL

that they are probably Mark Hiscock on accordion
and vocals, Craig Young on guitar and vocals,
and Bob Pike on bass, doing Newfoundland classics
and some Irish pub favourites.

Yes they are. Mark and Bob are also in Shanneyganock
and Mark sings and plays the accordion at the same
time. Craig has I think won the award for
top guitar player from the Candian Country
Music Association before and has spent some
time in Nashville.
