Project 9 is a new WebSite dedicated to giving bands and musicians with no
promotional facilities *some* promotional facilities!

At the moment Project 9 is focussing on UK bands though overseas
submissions will be given individual consideration. Please read the
following information extract to see what Project 9 can do for you!

Feel free to check it out for yourself at: http://www.apcg.demon.co.uk

Info Extract:
=============
Things you should try to include in your submission:

1. The music (!)

2. Photos of yourself/selves. Colour or Black-and-White. Photos can be
returned if necessary - make sure you pencil in your name and address on
the back of each one for safety's sake.

3. Any reviews, Biog info, band comments about your favuotite tracks,
studio gossip from recording sessions, in fact anything else you can think
of text-wise.

4. If you have a drawn B/W or colour logo you specifically want scanning or
converting into a standard graphics format for printing, etc, it can be
done...

How will people know to find your music on the Internet?
Project 9 will be continuously EMailing areas and people within the music
industry (whether they like it or not) with current lists of bands, updates
and new arrivals. Also sponsorship is actively being sought from companies
as varied as NME (IPC magazines) and VocalTec (creators of the I-Wave audio
format). Regular postings will be made to all relevant newsgroups,
publishing and promotion companies we know (and don't) so rest assured
we'll be promoting Project 9 and it's members to the fullest extent
possible across EMail and the Net. Registration with all major Internet
search engines is in progress and will be complete within a week (probably
already is complete as you reads this).

If there's a logo/design you want converting to Postscript or another
graphic format(s) (supplied to you on floppy disk in PC or MAC format a
limit of 3 disks to a conversion) and all structured graphics (as opposed
to scans) are supplied in:
.CDR (Corel V4 format)
.WMF (Windows MetaFile)
.EPS/.AI (Postscript/Adobe Illustrator)
.CGM (Computer Graphics Metafile)
If for any reasons one or more formats refuse to convert accurately then
all available formats from the above list will be used. Please specify any
target graphic size for conversion, ie A4, A5, 4x9, etc..

Specify also if you require CMYK separations or multicolour (maximum of 4)
separations for T-Shits, etc...
