MEMO to bands & songwriters:

Regarding publishing, we are a publishing company, but with a
different twist. We found that a lot of bands and songwriters set
themselves up as a publishing company, but what good does it do if
they don't collect much in the way of royalties. The problem is
getting the airplay & then making sure that it is accurately monitored
to make sure the band or soloist gets credit for the work they wrote.
.......... So here's what makes us different: We are teaming up with
an internationally established company that will help administer &
monitor our artist on radio and other public sources & lives shows,
etc. to make sure that things don't fall through the cracks. (Even if
you are played on the radio, if no one reports it, you don't get
paid!) In addition, we work with a publicist that pushes the products
of our acts onto radio in the US & Europe and then follows up with the
stations to find out exactly how often the music is played, how people
respond to it, etc. That program was initially set up to track the
response to products so that we can use the data when pitching the act
to major labels........ but a side effect is that the data can also be
used to help monitor (and encourage) the airplay of artists & increase
their royalties from it!
