Hi, I enjoy the Corries song, 'Liberty,' immensely, but cannot find the
words to it. I've tried to transcribe it myself, but I have a terrible
time because of the accent. I've figured out a verse or two but cannot
find all the words. Does anyone have this song transcribed who can email
or post a copy, or tell me where one is posted?

I'm not sure of the name of the song, so here's one stanza to jog your
memory....:>

By the field, that once was green
By the shield, that silver sheen
By the sword, in battle keen....
To win our liberty.

Bless a man, whose faith we hold
Bless a man, in chains they sold
Bless a man, in cloth of gold,
Who won our liberty.

As I've said, I have a terrible time with the accent, so chances
are, that these are not the right words! :> But they're
reasonably close.

Another song I'd like to find the words to is 'The Roses of Prince
Charlie,' which I heard on a 'Best of the Corries'-type album. If anyone
can help with either song, I'd appreciate it very much!
