I am trying to find the Gaelic lyrics for the hymn "Be Thou My Vision". I
do not speak or read Gaelic, but would love to have the lyrics phonetically
so that I might learn the song. I currently sing it in English, but being a
living historian would prefer to do it in the original version.

Thanks!

The original early Irish lyrics are here

Good luck with the pronunciation. No one knows exactly how eighth-century
Irish sounded.

Hello,
You might try Maire Brennan's current release CD -" whisper to the wild
water "
on the Word Label.

' Bi Thusa Mo Shu'ile

That's my favorite as well ( included in my wedding ceremony ).
