A friend gave me a cassette with only the words _Brean Derg Muc_
on it. It has a male vocal group singing a collection of folk
songs, including cool versions of _Spanish Lady_ and _Drunken Sailor_.
I've checked three music stores and numerous webpages, and no one seems
to know who these guys are. Can anyone help? I'd really like to buy
this cd and whatever else this group has produced.
Thanks,
Michal.

They were a local Toronto group. Unfortunately, they have gone their
separate ways. As far as I know, that was the only tape they put out
and it was not released as a cd.
Holmes Hooke has gone solo as a story teller, poet.
Al Parrish now plays with Tanglefoot out of Peterborough. He has
re-recorded Traili Bay on Tanglefoot's last cd.
I don't know what Blain or Kevin Fullbrook are doing.

All from Toronto.
I'm sitting with Holmes Hooke tonight and getting info.
Only One CD / cassette. Self titled "Brean Derg Muc".
He did a nunber of spoken word discs on his own.
Cheers
