coincidentally, my wife and I went to Sezala for the first time just
last night to see Viva Brasil. They are absolutely my favorite band
and rarely play anymore. I was listening to a playlist I have in
itunes with one of their songs on it, it got me thinking I'd like to
hear them so I went to their site, saw that they were playing that
night, had never heard of Senzala, looked it up, realized it was only
25 minutes away and me and the wife headed out of the house
immediately for dinner and dancing. A great night.
Senzala has a nice open feel and seems a good place to see music, and
dance. I'd go back there to see Mark Levine but we are busy tonight.
I haven't seen him since I lived in the east bay and I'd catch him at
the old Yoshis. He's a good player for sure.
