Never heard of G. Figueiredo either.
Haven't heard the song until just now, when I downloaded the clip from your
Joyce site.
I checked CliqueMusic, and the song is listed only in 'Passarinho Urbano' -- it
looks as if there are no other recordings.

Here they are. It's a nice arrangement. Joyce's rendition is, as expected,
great. I've added a translation at the end. Darn, it loses the nice "malandro"
feel of the original lyrics, but the worst is the rhythmic loss of the sound of
"cutuco/não cutuca," which is so close to the sound of the "tamborim" in Joyce's
voice. Again, it's one of those Brazilian songs that takes advantage of the
musicality of the Portuguese language and sounds.

I haven't seen the first name spelled out anywhere else, but by the same
token, I haven't seen another G. Figueiredo who does comic tunes. Maybe
we should pose the question to the other lists in Brasil.

that's an old old joke, or story, which i heard many years ago, alleging that
the samba was invented by a malandro with a knife, trying to decide whether he
should stab or not his victim:
"Te cutuco ou não cutuco?
Te cutuco ou não cutuco?"
