Eliane. She's a kick-ass player. Not necessarily a phenomenal singer, but is
certainly among the elite in the piano department.

"A great percentage of people don't want a challenge. They want
something done to them, they don't want to participate. But there'll
always be maybe 15% that desire something more, and they'll search it
out. And maybe that's where art is."

For what? Piano or vocals? Two completely different genres, really.
not if you use ms word
I'll take Elaine Elias in the third round by TKO.
Exactly. This is like asking who do I like better, McCoy Tyner or Bill
Evans. Apples and oranges, really.
But to answer your question: while I have vast respect for them both, I have
far more EE albums than DK albums. But each has done wonders for the
furtherance of jazz, each is accomplished, each married a musician, and each
has an impressive body of work to show for their contributions to music.
And, each is very easy on the eyes. I won't pretend otherwise--they will
both be gorgeous for a long time to come. being beautiful won't make me buy
their music, but it doesn't hurt either.

And DK has twins on the way.
