Marty Melcher was married to Doris Day, NOT Peggy Lee. I doubt that he
was a drummer. :-) Don't know who the drummer is, but I beleive the
bassist is Joe Comfort.

It was Shelly Manne.
Does anyone know the name of the drummer of the group behind Peggy
Lee in her rendition of FEVER? My dad's guess is that it was Marty
Melcher, and that he may even have been married to Peggy.
Many thanks--

One more comment:
Marty Melcher was a husband of Doris Day, had nothing to do with Peggy Lee, and
was not a drummer. He was a manipulator of money, as Ms Day found out.
