Yup. Got it right here (love this SLIP connection :)

"Miles Davis Quintet with John Coltrane
The Legendary Stockholm Concert"
Natasha Imports NI-4011

1. Green Dolphin Street
2. All Blues
3. So What
4. Fran-Dance
5. Walkin'/The Theme

Coltrane's interview is transcribed in the booklet and does
not appear on the disc.

Actually it is a 4 CD set on Dragon DRCD228.

I _think_ these double LPs are issued together on one double CD (still on
Dragon). "The complete Miles Davis in Stockholm", or something like that.

Coltrane's interview *is* heard on the double LP version of that
material. Eat your hearts out, CD partisans.

There are literally at least a dozen versions of this material on CD,
at least a couple of which have the interview on it. The Natasha one
above is a pretty good single disc set. On of the double or the four
CD Dragon/DIW sets would have the complete stuff, which I think beyond
the Natasha material above would be the interview and another version
of "So What". And, as already mentioned, the 4CD set also contains
the Davis/Stitt material from later in the year.

I recently heard from Diane Mitchell (Red's widow) that Dragon made
and exclusive distribution agreement with Allergo. I've not confirmed
this. Wonder if anyone can contact Allegro on this matter since they
are on the NET these days.

Cheers!

The interview IS included in the 4 CD set as well as about 72 minutes of
material that's NOT on the LP set. All this in superb sound. No pops, no
clicks, no groove distortions. Eat your heart out, vinyl snob!

OK, I had that coming. I didn't read what I was responding to very
carefully. After I sent that reply I saw that he was referring to a single
CD on Natasha. Although I didn't know for sure, I strongly suspected that
that stuff is out on Dragon, and probably would include the interview.
I'm really not a vinyl snob. I agree that it's great not to have pops,
clicks, and groove distortions, especially on brand new merchandise. I
simply feel that there was a lot of unwarranted hype about digital as opposed
to a sonnically outstanding lp.

THE SAME MATERIAL IS NOW AVAILABLE ON CD. IT IS ONE OF THE FINEST MILES
RECORDING PERIOD. IT'S GOT A HEAVY PRICE, BUT IT'S WELL WORTH IT.

THERE'S EVEN A SHORT INTERVIEW WITH COLTRAIN ON IT.

CHECK IT OUT. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND IT AT TOWER.
