I know some regulars of the Blue Note Bulletin Board post here, but
most names here are unfamilar to me, so the following may have been
missed by many of you.

On Monday March 3, 2003 the Blue Note Bulletin Board was effectively
reduced to a rump of it's former self; half of the forums were removed
without any notice being given. Most of us were cheesed off by the
heavy handed explanation tended, that it is the companies board and
they can do with it what they wish. All strictly true ofcause, but
people's sensitives were trampled on as a consequence.

Consequent of all this, the number of posts at the BN Board is much
reduced and several other boards have gained from an infux of new
menbers. The All About Jazz forum (
http://forums.allaboutjazz.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=2 ) is
where most of us have migrated to, but a new board, Organissimo (
http://organissimo.org/forum/index.php?s=7d090857e8c5521729afc771f4562bed
), has been set up by Jim Alfredson (B3-er on the BN Board) and the
Harlem.org Board ( http://www.harlem.org/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro
) has shown some signs of life.

I would emphasize that the "All About Jazz" has shown growth and will
be changed to a multiple forums format in the next day or two.

You would be welcome at any of these locations.

PS: Less this should seem like spam, I have no direct connections with
any of these websites.

Apologies, in my original message I should have added the Jazz Corner
Speakeasy: http://www.jazzcorner.com/speakeasy/index.html , used by
some of the BN crowd.
