Does anyone have any experience with the new CD from Diana Krall
playing the songs of the Nat King Cole Trio? Is she a good jazz
pianist?

I really like this disc. I think Diana sings her butt off, and plays
great too. Plus, the guitarist, Russell Malone, is also killin'. I'd
hidhly recommend this one.

IMHO she is a very good jazz pianist and a wonderful singer. Run out and
by both her her CDs and then call someone in Canada and get her first.
Also, if you get the chance to see her live, go.

I'll chime in on the recommendations here. While I had some reservations
about Diana Krall's singing on her previous disc, not that I didn't like
it, I think the Cole tribute is better. I think her singing is more
natural and the players really work together as a cohesive unit.

Where can I found out that information?
I would love to see her perform live.

I have both of her albums. IMHO, Nat King Cole Trio
tribute is far superior than her earlier CD.

Wow! Diana Krall is amazing! Now only can she sing and play, but she's
mastered the Einsteinian paradox of time travel. (Check out her WA
appearance date! :-)

Seriously, she's awesome. Just got her new CD and it's knocked me out.
