Toninho Horta discography
Francisco Muril Zerbini
singer/composer/guitarrist who started as a member of Milton Nascimentos
Clube da Esquina (Corners Club) in the late 60s and has since then been a
major figure in Brazilian music. Today Toninho lives in the US and his
talent keeps knocking out everyone who listens to his songs and his
beautiful guitar playing.
I have been a fan of Toninho since 1975, when I bought Milton Nascimento's
_Minas_, in which Toninho plays on several tracks and also contributes
with a song that became a standard in Brasil, _Beijo Partido_ (Broken
Kiss). His first solo album came out in 1979.
After talking to other fans, I decided to start organizing a TH
discography. At first this might seem like an easy task, since he has
only seven solo albuns. However, TH has participated in a multitude of
albums from both Brasilian and American artists, from the 70s to today. I
have just a fraction of these albums and I'm hoping that other people will
contribute to the discography.
This first version that I'm posting today is rather crude. It has just THs
solo albums with the list of songs, and some of the albums in which he
guests (all the ones I have plus a few that other people have
contributed). Depending on how much feedback I get, I will post a second
version with more info on the albums (complete line ups, catalog numbers,
etc) and additional info on Toninho's background.
Heres the first version of the discography (translations are included
only when they are provided in the albums).

Toninho plays guitar on the 1976 album GALOS DE BRIGA by Joao Bosco
on the RCA/Victor label. According to the liner notes, he is
part of the core band, so I would assume he is on all the cuts.
