Eric Nisenson has written a book "The Making of Kind Of Blue". I picked it
up, and noticed he claims Miles Davis takes the first solo on "Freddie
Freeloader". Apparently this astonishingly ignorant word-monkey has managed
to write this volume and even get it published (!) without actually
listening to this classic album, and without sending a draft around for
critical review or comments and corrections from actual music-type people.
Please Eric, next time write about the exciting world of driveway gravels of
the Southeastern United States.
