This is my first post to this group in about 10 years. I was fairly
active between 1995 - 2000. I'm looking for a book I read a number of
years ago written by someone who acted as a "go-fer" for Miles Davis
during the late 70s when he was not performing and living reclusively.
I remember it being an interesting first hand account of his
experiences and encounters at Miles' home. Unfortunately, I can't
remember the author or the name of the book. I've tried Amazon and my
local library, but haven't come up with the book. It's possible that
the recollections about Miles might have been a chapter in a book that
also profiled other people, but I'm not sure.
I'm hoping someone in this group might be familiar with this book.
Thanks,
Tom
