eric kloss teaches jazz saxophone here at carnegie mellon. as a matter
of fact, i'm taking a jazz improv class from him this semester. he's an
amazing player, to say the least...

I used to study with Eric. He is an amazing teacher/person and player.
Unfortunately he rarely plays out anymore. Maybe we should all send him a
letter. There was an article on him in JAZZIZ ( I think) a few months
back.

unless the guy who has been teaching me jazz improv all semester is a
fraud, eric kloss is in pittsburgh, pa. your sax teacher is mistaken.

if we're talking about the same guy, he's in pittsburgh, among other
things teaching jazz improv at carnegie mellon (i took the class last
year). it is still true, however, that he is an outstanding player.
