On Friday's Jazz on 3 on BBC Radio 3, they featured a great track by a
French trio called Prism. The presenter said something about it being
released on Bluenote but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyone got any
info? Many thanks,

Prysm is a French group composed of Pierre de Bethman (p), Christophe
Wallemme (b) and Benjamin Hénocq (d).
They released 3 albums on Blue Note FRANCE www.bluenote.tm.fr

yeah, well...that's blue note for you. too much great music out-of-print -- and
too little of it will ever see the light of day again.

i'm not at home as i'm reading your post; and now that i've read it, i won't
see it again this evening. perhaps someone else can answer your question more
accurately. if not, email me directly, and i'll pull out the information i have
from my laptop.

i believe the correct spelling is "prysm." i'm pretty sure they released two
discs on blue note. i know i have the second, although i don't recall the
titles of either. you might try some of the online sources, like amazon or
cdnow. amazon, in particular -- if they don't have a copy still sitting in a
warehouse somewhere, they might have someone selling one used.

i don't remember much about the disc at all, to tell you the truth. i remember
liking it -- but obviously not enough to pay too much attention to it.
