Hi,
I saw Victor Bailey in Leverkusen last night playing together with Joe
Zawinul.
And unfortunately I had to ergister, that he was using a walking stick. I
was quite shocked, because his problem did not look like a temporarily one.
Does anyone know something about this?

Victor has multiple sclerosis, a debilitating nervous system disorder.
He has been using a cane for a couple of years now. Thankfully he
hasn't yet lost any of his bass-playing ability. Unfortunately the
disease is incurable, but Vic will still most likely be able to perform
for a good number of years.
