That song used in that Reeses Peanut Butter television commercial was
driving me to distraction, as it were, rapidly developing into a genuine
earworm. It's the one that be heard over at
http://www.ispot.tv/ad/7Ckq/reeses-chocolate-and-peanut-butter . Reeses
first used it back in late 2010, apparently (I don't recollect hearing
it at that time, though), and they're playing it again now on a regular
basis. Finally, I'd had enough. Finally I tracked it down.

Turns out it's actually a portion of the intro to a song by The
Generationals called "Exterior Street Day" over at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBTzuqcgGcc . From their 2009 debut
album "Con Law."

One of the catchier guitar riffs I've heard in a long time. Sounded like
a 60s jangle-Rock piece. I was very much disappointed in the remainder
of the song, though, I must admit (except for the ending, which repeats
the intro theme).

Links to all of my acoustic 6 and 12-string guitar playing available on
the Net.

It's Generationals, not The Generations, of course. Sort of like, it's
not The Jefferson Airplane. It's Jefferson Airplane.
