And I've got a Rubber Soul cd that seems to be mixed differently from
the original cd. This cd was manufactured by Disque Americ Canada and
doesn't have the faint echo on the left channel on songs, i.e.
"Norwegian Wood," "Nowhere Man" and "Girl" to name a few. Mostly you
notice this at the beginning of the songs.

It really doesn't matter where the actual disc was manufactures, as the
CDs were all taken from the same masters provided by EMI. Its no secret
that many digital copies are made for the pressing plants to use.

Dave, your Rubber Soul CD is just like mine. Disque Americ Canada is a
LEGIT pressing plant used by many Canadian record companies, including
EMI Canada, so there is in NO WAY a chance at our version of Rubber Soul
is a pirate. I had posted before that George Martin had stated in an
interview with Musician magazine, that he HAD remixed Help! and Rubber
Soul for CD, from the original 4 track masters. So if he says he remixed
it, I'll believe him!

There are an awful lot of pirates floating around, some better (the
George Harrison 2/fers) some worse (most else).
