Give Peace a Chance/ Remember Love
Apple Records, UK, no date
7" 45 rpm single
As part of a long-standing agreement Lennon credited "Give Peace A Chance"
to Lennon/McCartney despite the fact that McCartney had nothing to do with

Montreal, during their Bed-In Protests for Peace. The b-side is Ono's sweet
"Remember Love." In printed black Apple sleeve (some wear to sleeve, record
plays fine).

LENNON, John/PLASTIC ONO BAND
Live Rock & Roll Revival, Toronto
HBO Video, 1988
56 min VHS
Lennon and Ono were invited, in 1969 (before the demise of the Beatles) to
attend the Toronto Rock & Roll Revival concert, as guests. Only interested
in coming if they could also perform, they were immediately offered the top
of the bill. With a band that was thrown together in a day (featuring Eric
Clapton, Alan White and Klaus Voorman) and who rehearsed on the plane trip
to Toronto, Lennon took the stage and played three classics, a lone Beatles
number and two solo singles. He then announced ".and now Yoko's gonna do her
thing.all over you". Ono, who spent much of the previous set in a canvas bag
at Lennon's feet, performed two long pieces "Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only
Looking For Her Hand in The Snow)" and "John, John (Let's Hope For Peace)".
The former deals with her young daughter who had been kidnapped by her
previous husband Tony Cox. The song ranks as one of her best performances
and is far superior to the studio version. The video also includes a single
song from Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard.
Filmed by D.A.Pennebaker (who shot the famous Dylan bio "Don't Look Back.")
Out of print and rare.

Grapefruit.
Simon and Schuster, New York, USA, 1970/2000
Originally self-published in 1964 in a very small edition (virtually
impossible to attain), Grapefruit is quintessential Ono, a seminal Fluxus
publication and a classic artists' book. Divided into 6 parts (music,
painting, event, poetry, object, and film) most entries consist of
instructions for the reader to complete in his or her mind. Along with
George Brecht's Wateryam, this publication helped define the Event Score,
one of the Fluxus movements' greatest legacies. Lennon's classic Imagine was
also inspired by the many pieces that begin "Imagine.." (The 1970 copy has
some not insignificant wear on the cover and the previous owners inscription
inside, otherwise fine. The 2000 reprint is a handsome facsimile, with a new
introduction by Ono. )

Museum Of Modern [F]art
Self-published, New York, USA, 1971
Unpaginated, 30 x 30 cm., staple bound
In 1971, Ono staged an imaginary exhibition titled Museum of Modern [F]Art.
It was advertised as "Yoko Ono--one woman show" in the Village Voice, with a
one-page spread that included run dates, a phone number for information, and
an order form for this catalogue. The "exhibition" consisted of a man with a
sandwich board and a large bottle containing Yoko's weight in perfumed
flies. The catalogue documents the travels of the conceptual flies. The MOMA
had no prior knowledge of the exhibition and after countless inquires at the
front desk they clipped the newspaper ad, scrawled "This Is Not Here" across
it and posted it on their window. This confused matters even more as an Ono
exhibition the year before had been titled "This Is Not Here."
