2. Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein ($235 million)
3. Michael Jackson ($90 million)
4. Elvis Presley ($55 million)
5. J.R.R. Tolkien ($50 million)
6. Charles Schulz ($35 million)
7. John Lennon ($15 million)
8. Dr. Seuss ($15 million)
9. Albert Einstein ($10 million)
10. Michael Crichton ($9 million)

12. Aaron Spelling ($8 million)
13. Andy Warhol ($6 million).
The magazine also notes that many of these dead celebs make more money
each year than living stars like Britney Spears ($35 million) and Bon
Jovi ($50 million).
Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and Steve McQueen, who have appeared in the
top 13 slots previous years, dropped off the list in 2009.
Gross earnings are estimated each year by talking to agents, lawyers
and others from the celebrity's estate to determine the sum before
taxes and other fees are applied.

I am surprised he is number one. Clothing, right?

Maybe all the royalties from songs/shows? They were prolific between
the two of them.

Yes, I don't know unless his works are copyrighted/patented, etc. Just
did a quick Google on his estate, and that may be the reason.
Hmmmm....physicist bobbleheads. What'll they think of next.

The Forbes site was a bugger to navigate. Automatic slide show, and
my PC kept freezing up so I couldn't scroll down.
Einstein's name/image is copyrighted, then.
Wonder if R & H were among the top in earlier years. Yves St.
Laurant's top spot came from a sale/auction, as well.
I would guess the royalties paid by all the school and community drama
troupes factors into this.
The Arranger
I think both Rogers and Hammerstein and Yves St. Laurent had enormous
income last year due to sales/auctions, according to the report.
I wonder if R & H appeared in the top tier in other years. YSL only
died in 2008.
Obama is a coon-assed spade. Did I ever mention that...?
This, as with everything else you read by me, is my OPINION only and
no other....:)
What you gonna do about it... Nigger Lover.....???!!
You are so determined to prove you're an ass, why not show yourself?
Why not stand behind all of this crap you post with a photo of
yourself and your name and address? Why not start a blog or something
to share this genius with the world? I think I know why ...
chickenshit worthless coward.
Why do you want this information? Are you trying to threaten me? Are
you trying to silence MY truth by implementing strong-armed fear
tactics? Because it isn't gonna work. The REAL truth will ALWAYS be
told BY ME despite your tyrannical chest-poundings.

You don’t know anymore about me than you do about FZ.

Listen here, Hot Shot… when it comes to defending one's life or limb
from sword or peril, there is no legal requirment to retreat or flee
where I come from. Believe that. And believe too that the less people
like YOU know about people like ME, the better for all concerned.
Now, you sorry piece of rat shit.... Defend your SORRY LIBERAL
STATEMENT about Frank Zappa's lyrics or SHUT the FUCK up.
The Nice Mean Man
As I said, you are afraid to stand behind your own bullshit rhetoric,
some small part of your very small brain must realize what an utter
embarassment you are to the human race.
This guy must have no brains at all if he lives in the south and he's
posting crap like this.
Talking to me.....? I didn't think so...
Nope. Didn't think so...
