25) You're Sixteen
26)With A Little Help From My Friends (singalong time!)
27)Jam session by All-Starr Band after Ringo left the stage,
Natuarally, this was a great concert ! The crowd seemed to favor Ringo,
Walsh, and The Band in that order. Walsh was great, and semmed to pull off
the Henley tunes pretty well. Billy
Preston did a good job, and was obviously enjoying what he was doing.
Dr. John did his 'stage strut' for Iko Iko (with the headdress) and half-a-
stage-strut for Candy. Boys was pretty weak, but th other Ringo tunes were
good, especially With A Little Help From
My Friends.
It did seem like the guys at the soundboard didn't mix the mikes loud enough,
and the bass a little too much.
I was dissapointed that I didn't get to hear Back Off Boogaloo, Life's Been
Good, and The Night They Drove Old
Dixie Down, but no luck. There was
a fair size crowd, but alot smaller than I had expected. T-shirts were $20,
Programs were $12, Hats were $15, and
Buttons were $3 (Damn capitalists 8-)
Brain and John will be doing their own reviews, I'm sure !
All the best,
-Scott
